    Recently, I had to make a business presentation at Kaiser Hospital, my friend from the City of Yuba City asked me to stop by and buy a couple of pasteries from Cavalier's. I stopped by just about closing time. I purchased the items my friend requested, and I bought a cake and some goodies to eat on my way home. My wife wants me to plan another trip out that way around my son's birthday so that she may order a cake, and, of course, I will have no trouble going for more goodies! Needless to say, 'Terrific baked goods & very sweet people!"

    I really liked this place when Doug Cavaliere used to own it.....not so much anymore. We used them at work for birthday cakes. Twice I ordered cakes for work and when I arrived to pick them up, they had no record of my order and I had to make a second trip to pick it up.... so the second time this happened (yes, I did give them a second chance) I just canceled and picked on up at the store. That was it for me. Too bad because Doug was an excellent baker.

    I have been having Cavaleri's cakes for years so did not hesitate to use them for my wedding cake. I met with the consultant and she was so helpful and sweet. She helped me make so many decisions. I would have been lost without her. I had a tough time trying to decide what flavors I wanted (they were all so good) and I had a hard time trying to decide what I wanted the cake to look like. I was feeing stressed because I had 400 guests coming to my wedding! I am from an Italian family so I settled on tiramisu. I know what good tiramisu tastes like and their tiramisu is out of this world!! My future husband is a chocoholic so he requested that one of the tiers at least be chocolate. We had a dark chocolate cake with truffle chocolate filling and it was jusat as great as the tiramisu. The design we came up with was so BEAUTIFUL. I highly recommend them and will post a picture soon so you can see what I am talking about. They are definitely the best wedding cake (if not cake bakers) in Sonoma County. YUM!!!
