Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: This theater is a cultural treasure. It's too far away though, and they should seriously consider moving it to Rohnert Park.
Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: The only "art house" theatre in Santa Rosa, featuring excellent independent films you can't see anywhere else in the area. If it was honored at Cannes or Sundance, it will probably find its way to the Rialto.
This is a theatre for people who enjoy good film and know how to behave in public. So if you must talk all the way through the film, can't turn your cell phone off, have a crying baby or kids who can't stay in their seats, etc...
...please visit one of our many local MegaObnoxious MultiPlexes instead. We won't miss you.

Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: BEST popcorn (and popcorn fixin's) of any movie theater I've been to in my sixty plus years. Shows smaller budget (but almost always better and more intelligent) movies than the big multi-plex theaters, and because the movies are more adult-oriented, there are few, if any, children with which to contend. The only local theater that carries live broadcasts of the MET operas (a real highlight of the season and much more convenient than driving 150 miles roundtrip to SF to see an opera). Friendly staff. Parking adequate (we are retired and go early in the day) but lot has been overcrowded when opera is playing (only a minor inconvenience, though). Plays Oscar contenders; foreign language movies; politically-sensitive movies; Indie winners. A great movie theater that delivers on its promise to "bring the best movies to Santa Rosa."
