The Evening Rose is one of those Mom & Pop operations where you actually get to spend time with Mom & Pop. The owners of this local eatery are hip to what's happening locally and offer a friendly, somewhat intimate establishment that was once the local post office. The food is traditional American fare well prepared in the kitchen which you can see from the dining area. If you want a taste of local culture while also enjoying a good meal prepared there on premises, the Evening Rose is a good choice.

the evening rose cafe in nice ca. is a very good place to eat it is family run their food is excellent and during the winter months the serve a soup and sandwitch every day on friday their soup and sandwitch is potato soup and a blt sandwitch it has a very frendly atmoshphere the are open from 7 am till 2 pm 7 days a week breakfast is served allday it is located at 6591 hudson ave between hwy 20 and manzanita (not lakeshore blvd)ave behind the nice market

ill will eat there every chance i get: evening rose cafe has very good food the atmosphere is very friendly it is family owned and operated there prices are reasonable and the the place is kept well clean on fridays they serve a blt sandwich and homemade patotoe soup it is fantastic try it youl love it (its located directly behind the nice market)
