Shanachie Pub, as advertised, really is a comfortable place to gather your friends, connect your laptop, or later at night, hear great live music. The premises are beautifully maintained, with warm lighting, a pleasant patio area, and even clean restrooms. They serve a variety of beer, wine, ciders and soft drinks, and when you aren't grooving to musicians or linking to the internet, you can play at the board game table or have a go at darts. You can also order food in from the Purple Thistle (just steps away).
