Outstanding!: The only thing harder than screwing up a burger and fries is taking them to an entirely new level. Let me tell you my friend this man has done it.
There was no need for mayo or mustard, on this burger. The quality of the beef alone was enough to carry the sandwich. Which was accompanied, amazingly enough by RIPE tomatoes, cornichons and the tastiest pickled red onions.
The pomme fritz brought a tear to my eye with a perfectly flakey interior and a crunchy exterior I would kill to be able to reproduce. If I lived closer I'd eat here daily. I highly recommend this place. BTW: They have IPA on tap. Yummy!
PS: Their espresso is the best I've had anywhere. Its even better with a touch of Sambuca.
Fabulous!!!: We love this resturant!! The food is fabulous, we have never been dissapointed in anything we have eaten there. The french onion soup is the best you will ever find!!! Do not pass this place up!
Food, friends, and fun for a fantastic feast.: The bar seating is funky and fun. The food is outstanding - never disappointing after many visits. The next room is a little quieter and outside is excellent too. We were just there the end of September, 2006 with friends from out of town. The pork loin was perfect on a pile of gorgonzola mashed potatoes, crisp green beans, and an apple cider reduction sauce that was killer good. I could have had twice the sauce, but that would have been piggy. Oh yes, the wines were in acceptable price ranges and many could be tasted by the glass. On particular Pinot Noir was so good we went directly (next day) to Bottle Barn to buy some. All in all it was a lovely experience and not over-priced.
