Windmills Restaurant is seriously the best locally owned family restaurant in Ukiah. They are so much better than the big corporation chains. The owner is supportive of local youth. The waitresses are at your beckon call! If you have never been here, try it! 5 stars

Windmills Cafe is definitely my new favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is very welcoming and its a very family-friendly restaurant. They have crayons and games for the kids as well as a children's menu that's almost as good as the adult's menu. The service was wonderful, the waitress made sure that we always had everything we needed. There were so many items on the menu that it was hard to decide what to order; I wanted to try everything! They have a very good selection of wraps and sandwiches, as well as Italian and Mexican food. The dinner menu has several delicious dishes, and the portion sizes are more than enough.

It was really hard to pick a favorite dish, but I'd have to say that I like the Chicken Caesar Wrap the best. It's romaine lettuce tossed with sliced grilled chicken breast and creamy Caesar dressing, wrapped in an herb flour tortilla. It's rather large, but it also comes with a side dish. You can choose between french fries, a side salad, pasta salad, potato salad, or soup.
