I when there yesterday on my way home from an abalone dive and I got two apple tarts and blueberry jam (in a jar). It was wonderful. The apple tart tasted so good. It was the best I had in a long time. There are also frozon pies that you can bring home to bake. I'll get the whole pie, next time I am there.
Mmm.... Berries: I'd like to note that I originally told my wife that if I'm driving a hundred miles for a pie, it had better be a darn good pie.
This has become a yearly tradition. Kozlowski Farms is very much a working berry farm with a small shop containing every manner of berry related bliss one can imagine. While you could save wear and tear and pick up a few jars of their preserves or rasberry/roasted chipotle sauce at the local market, you won't get a chance to get one of their baked goods. Suffice to say, bring a cooler and a few ice packs so that you can keep the uncooked things until you get back home. (The cooked ones may not last the trip.)
Definitely worth visiting and loading up.
