This place easily has the best pizza in Humboldt County. Great atmosphere and great food!

I have lived in Eureka for 14 yrs. & found Smug's Pizza by accident while walking in Old Town about a month ago, finally tried it yesterday because I loooove pizza. It was the best pizza I have ever had, it even beats the pizza that the New Yorker's rave about. MMMMM good, the crust is soft with a hint of garlic in it or something like that, cooked to perfection without making the crust hard. If your ever in Eureka, California give yourself a treat & at Smug's Pizza by the slice or whole pie.

Best Deal: At $3.75 with two slices (variety of pre-made pies, up to 6 toppings, varies daily/hourly) a quality soda/juice, and a choice of either chips, cracker jacks, or a cookie, Smugs offers the best deals in Humboldt County.

Slices are waay better than dominos, round table, or any of the other localized chains and second (slightly) only to the pizza emporiums of Arcata (APD and N.Y. Pizza) where you can get freshly heated over-priced slices.

Eureka branch of smugs (there's one in arcata too) has two tables but the atmosphere is not great. It's more a take out quick/quick fix establishment.

Not open late. No deliveries.
