A special occassion for my family to dine out before my son heads back to Ft. Bragg NC was tragic! The menu was fine, the feel of the place was nice, the service was the worste I have seen in a very long time at any place. When you pay an average of $20+ per entre you expect good service. When my daughter in law mentioned it to another server, that server told our server that there where problems...here is the big mistake...OUR server then came over and put me on the spot, asking if there was a problem, being polite, I held back when I should have went to the owner.
She was stressed, forgot drinks, never checked on our food, never asked me if I wanted another glass of wine when my glass was empty let the empty dishes stack up on the table, had a bitter attitude. At one point I took all of the empty plates and stacked them in front of me at least 6 plates, it was only then that a busser came by to pick them up. When we asked for desert for my Grandchildren, who by the way where amazingly good, she snapped "all we have is vanilla ice cream, well we do have some chocolate sauce". Sorry to put you out honey, but if you don't like your job, get another. For a small fee of $150.00 plus tip, you can have decent food...and horible service...and by the way I will never dine there again. I would rather pay $300.00 for a meal with a smile:)
And for less than $10.00 the folks that work at Mc Donald's are more pleassant. I still can't get over the fact that the server actually asked me if there was a problem with her service, when she new damn well there was. I just did not want to sit there for 45 minutes telling her about the mess and causing a scene.

We dined on a Saturday night at Bootleggers and it was average. As a vegetarian, I was very disappointed that there were not more meatless options available. Also, upon informing our server of my dietary preferences I found it disheartening that she did not so much as offer any variations of any of the entrees. (We dine out often and are almost always offered meatless variations of certain menu offerings.} As far as "ambiance" is concerned it was a little too dark for our taste. I don't honestly believe we will visit again. Thanks.

My favorite Auburn restaurant! Korean Skirt Steak is to die for! Try the calamari too, normally I am not big on Calamari, but theirs is amazing! The wait staff can seem stressed during a rush, but the ambiance is great!
