Tasty, just so very tasty!! The fish is so moist and good, one of life's great little sins. Don't be counting calories though!

My wife and I are locals and have been going to Pelican's Roost every few months since it opened a few years back. The fish & Chips are the best around and other menu items are just as good. We enjoy the cozy atmosphere and the service is not too bad either. Prices are resonable and they don't skip on quantity. My wife and I usually get the full order of Fish & Chips and split an appitizer and we're full. I recammened giving this place a try if you've never been.

I would like to say that I use to work for this restaurant. I had a good time working there and the food was great as well. I will admit the service isn't always as perfect but they try. As for the comment stating that they recycle the food it's not true at all. First of all the cook would never come out and scowl the customer and in front of other customers. And what cook would ever do that in the first place unless there out of there mind. This person also stated the cook pick there crab cakes right in front of them. The cook would be fired if that ever happen. If the customer isn't happy we would gladly get them something else. This person has the exact same comments on another website called citysearch.com. It's obvious this person was a disgruntle ex-employee. We did have a lady that use to work there and she wasn't a great person to work with. I was glad that she quite. She quite late last year or so not to sure exactly when but it was fairly recent. As you can see from the other comments the reviews are good. I am going to post this at the other website.
