The long and relatively narrow dining area is dominated by the preparation area, which is surrounded by a shallow serving canal. User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis is a restaurant that I have gone to several times. The sushi is good and fresh; the menu has the standard items. If you sit at the counter, it can get expensive. We had Chicken Nanban and Tempura Udon, plus some sushi from the boats; the bill, plus tip, came to $56.00. The Udon broth was lacking flavor and the chicken was a bit dry. Overall, the sushi was good but the dinner items were not as good as before.

A local favorite of mine: Osaka Sushi is a gauranteed great japanese dinner. If you're in the mood for Japanese, this is the place. I highly recommend the sesami chicken and tempura combo dinner!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsgood place to eat: Good sushi and meals. Lots of variety. They have a sushi boat bar. Like most sushi places, it's expensive. This place might even have the best sushi in Davis, though I have been to many, but not ALL, sushi places in Davis.
