I came in to see if they have any assignments, and told me they do, but they only want college graduates. Which is fine with me, but when I ask for the person in front about what kinds of degrees they need to get me place into a job here, she ignored me. No matter how many times I said it she wouldn't even look at me nor talk to me as if I wasn't even there. I asked her 5 times before leaving. Do they really look down on high school graduates like me? As soon as I obtain my degree, I'll make sure I don't even go to a Apple One again.
Totally awful! I have to admit this is not the first time I call Apple One. The same receptionist sounds really rude somewhat tire. She's maybe not happy with her job. How did she qualify for a receptionist job over me with that attitude? I got a missed call and the way the receptionist left her voice message was, "This message is for *****, sorry we do not have a job match for you." After that last line, she hangs up the phone. This is not a good customer service at all over the phone. Should have at least say before hanging up the phone, "If you have any questions or concerns, you may call us right away at this number." She's probably on her period, having a bad day or whatever.
Apple One, you just lost so many potential employees reading this post now. Have a great day! =)
To college graduates, avoid all these agencies! They're a waste of time and will ask you to watch long videos, do computer tests and ask so much of your time. Spend your time wisely not on agency crap because it's not worth the time. Even if you do get a job through an agency, it's not for long.
Good luck folks!
This organization doesn't even rate a one star. I came in for a permanent placement iterview with a resume in hand. I was required to watch a video on work place attire and safety. I was then expected to type my resume into a funky program they had on site. Everything they wanted me to do related to temporary employment. There was no mention of perm placement even though this was discussed when the appointment was made. If you want a light industrial temporary assignmet, this is the place for you. If you are expecting to be placed in a permanent professional position continue on down the road, don't stop here.
I went to an AppleOne in Florida and they were terrible in the interview!! The receptionst was very nice, but in the interview the Tech person and the woman were extremely condesending and egotistical the way they came off!! I know they were trying to help, but they came off that way!! Never will go back
I went into appleone also. It is their policy that all people who go thru them have to do those things. I didn't care, I had a temp to Hire position with in a week. I got permantly hired on by that company in no time. So you get past all their preliminary hiring stages and then you hardly deal with them unless it is for your pay check or you have problems at the place your working in. I loved this organization. It helped me get a job I loved the first time around I didn't have to keep going back in over and over to new positions, even though they do offer temporary assignments.
