User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWhat is all the hype about. I have eaten here 3 times, and it was one of the worst restaurants I have eaten at. The food was really greasy and drown in sauces. Go to Bistro or Mustard Seed and then tell me this restaurant is any good.

UPDATE: I'm "upping" my rating back to 5 stars, as I've had two excellent meals there in the past week. Pesto angel hair pasta with their delicious Italian sausage and shrimp scampi with linguine plus a "decadent" dessert of warm fudge brownie ala mode with whipped cream & choc syrup. Very friendly waitress and super service. I'm going to be sure and have their seasonal lobster ravioli special, which my waitress informed me would be available in May.
Good restaurant, but an "off" night: Based on my most recent visit, I unfortunately have to lower my rating by one star. My friend and I first ordered a fried calamari ring appetizer for $6.95, which I hadn't had at Caffe Italia before. It was OK, but the portion was rather meager for two people. Of course, I suppose I'm spoiled by the Sudwerk calamari rings - which I like better, plus you get at least three times as much for a buck less - a full meal in and of itself!. For the main course, I ordered spinach raviolis with Italian sausage & my friend spinach & cheese raviolis with the sausage side. The food was good, but the sauce was barely warm, as if it had been sitting in the pot for awhile without being adequately heated. The best part of the meal was the fresh, hot, delicious garlic bread and the fact that our server brought us a second serving upon request at no extra charge. My long-running overall experience with this restaurant is that the food is usually very good, including breakfasts, and the ambiance very pleasant. A couple times I've have had their fab lobster ravioli special - not a regular menu item, hope to "hit" it again. So I'm going to attribute this experience to an "off night," and look forward to my next visit. 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI think they have the most fabulous spicy Thai pizza! Love how creative they are with their menu items. Everytime I've been there the service has always been attentive. Look forward to my next visit.
