   Tangles is an excellent salon, using wonderful-smelling Aveda products. I saw Larissa for my first haircut (ever!), and she was incredibly helpful, and gave me a great cut. I had a great experience, and highly, highly recommend her and the salon.

   Awful. Rude. Ridiculous. Completely unhelpful and beyond rude. Save yourself the time and go down the street to Nina's. It is a shame because I really like Aveda products but they really are unbearable.

   Great cuts, relaxing atmosphere: I've always been happy with my experience at Tangles. Ask for one of their more experienced stylists: many of the negative reviews seem to be from people who got newbies. Also some of the front desk staff have been spacey or slightly rude but I've always liked my stylists.
   
   I heard on Daviswiki that Ian was good so I scheduled with him without meeting him. He knew exactly what I wanted without me needing a photo or a huge explanation. Very laid back and friendly. I get great haircuts from him. Ask for Ian!
   
   Their products smell great and make my hair look amazing.
