User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWhat a great find! The food was amazing... portion size, flavor, and cost were beyond my expectations. My fiance and I had the family dinner for two. There were enough leftovers to make a whole meal. The service was excellent. I will definitely eat here again. I highly recommend it!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGlad I Tried Menu: I had eaten here a few times previously, but only the buffet lunch special when I was super hungry and since I'm trying to avoid buffets these days, I hadn't been here for quite awhile. The food was good as far as buffets go, but it's never really as good as fresh out of the kitchen and I usually ate at other Davis Chinese restaurants when ordering from a menu. However, I'm glad I tried Great Wall's menu. I was again very hungry, having not eaten all day, but since it was after 4, the lunch buffet was over. I ordered black mushroom and pork for $6.75. For an extra $2.75, you can add pork chow mein, pork fried rice, an eggroll & a cup of soup to whatever dinner entree you order ("Special Dinner For One"), which I did. So my total bill with tax (only water for drink) was only a little over 10 bucks and the portion was humongous - honestly, just the main entree would have been enough! But most important, the food was piping hot & delicious. The only drawback to the experience was that the waiter didn't return once to refill my water glass or ask how things were, even though the place was not at all crowded. I don't like intrusive wait staff that pop back every 2 minutes, but at least once is a kind of unwritten minimum as far as I'm concerned.

Great Food: This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in Davis. Always fresh tasting and good portions.
