Fun place, interesting, old historical murals on walls, okay for kids - coming for dinner in back. New ownership now, but assume it's still the same - which means no bad language - you're escorted out. For you ladies (do men drink these?) the Golden Cadillac is "their" drink - IT'S TRADITION! - tastes similar to a vanilla milkshake. Or get the Brown Cow - has coffee flavor, less sweet - delicious. Used to have live music once a week by Hank -guitar/singing - everyone joins in - good fun (don't know if he still does that). Cross section from biker to executive - everybody's equal and respectful. You won't feel or be treated like a stranger. Good place! -plenty of parking
Ribs come with a baked potato and small salad. The ribs are good, not what I would call "great", they were quite dry.
Tends to be a biker layover. Nice place to visit once in a while but it's not really a place to eat at more often than that.
Somewhat like the ole West: The first time I was there (1971), it was actually rated as one of the top 10 restaurants in Northern California! Today, it's pretty much like it was 30 some years later, although the cigarrette smoking has stopped (yes!). Drinks (Golden Cadillacs) are a MUST! After several Cadillacs, the beef ribs are AWESOM!!! You've got to try this "hang-out"!!! A must stop if your in the area.
