The sales associates here are sneaky liars! We had a confirmed selling price for a vehicle prior to going to the dealer. We had actually made an offer for the vehicle and they turned us down at first. about a we later they called us to tell us they would accept our offer!
We went to the dealership to buy the vehicle and they sat us down and tried to negotiate a new and much higher price than what had been agreed upon. To add to that, they kept trying to get us to apply for credit through the dealer when we had already told them a MILLION times that we already had pre-approved outside financing. They are a bunch of lying jerks! They had options listed on the dealer invoice sheet posted in the vehicle's window that were NOT on the vehicle!
Would never buy a vehicle from this dealer!
My girlfriend and her mother caught 2 of folsom lake nissan's mechanics joyriding in her car, red handed. When confronted, everyone from the mechanic, to the service manager, to the dealership's general manager told bold faced lies to try and cover up the fact that they had illegally taken the car out joyriding. The car was at the dealership to have it's radio replaced, and there was absolutely no reason for the mechanics to be out driving the car.
When they were caught their 1st excuse was that they were testing the car's automatic volume adjustment. Big problem here: #1- The new radio was not yet installed, and the old radio didn't work. And #2- Her car did not come equipt with that option.
The next excuse that the general manager gave her was that the mechanics were test driving the car because they had heard a "clicking" noise comming from one of the windows. Another couple of big problems: #1- When questioned, nobody could tell them which window it was that was clicking or why it was neccessary for 2 mechanics to take the car for a test drive. #2- Approx. a month earlier she had taken the car to Folsom Lake Nissan to have the brakes checked, and they refused to test drive the car outside of the dealership's parking lot. And nobody could tell her why they refused to take the car for a test drive then, but were so willing to test drive the car for a "clicking" window.
Ultimately the new radio was installed in the car. As soon as the car was ready, the general manager handed her the keys and told her that she could leave. She asked about her paperwork, and asked whether or not they were going to replace the gas that the mechanics had used while they were out joyriding in her car. The general manager rolled his eyes, muttered something under his breath, and attempted to give her a $5.00 dollar bill to cover the cost of the gas. When she told him that she did not want his money, he told he that he was very offended.
The general manager told her that he was going to have a meeting with his employees, and said that he would most likely write them up. He said that he could not afford to fire them because he had already fired 5 other employees this month for similar behavior. He told her that he was "On her side" and said that he would call her after his meeting.
Well, he called her... But he seems to have switched sides. He told her that she was 100% at fault for the situation because she had used profanity when she was speaking to the mechanic.
So unless you want some mechanic to illegally take your car out joyriding, and then want to have almost the entire managment staff lie to your face to cover it up... DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO FOLSOM LAKE NISSAN!!!
Horrible Service: I bought my 2006 Nissan from Aloias and I had a terrible with the sells people. They need not try to sterotype individuals who walk through the door. The only reason why my wife and I bought from this dealership is because knowone else had the color we wanted.

The dealership has been sold to a real owner group as of June, 2008. Much better service!
