I am not sure we are talking about the same resturant when some of the others are giving it a 5 star review.. YUCK!!!!!!
I took my family there after spending a day at Daffodil Hill.
Services was super slow but there weren't that many people in it.
The salsa with the chips was the blandest, no flavor, no spice dip I have ever had "at a mexican resturant". Even Taco-Bell "MILD" is better.
We realized this wasn't a true mexican resturant when my wife asked for chicken enchilada with green sauce. The Asian waiter said they don't carry green sauce.. (Strike 1)
She then found the red sauce on the chile relleno to be very watered down and no flavor (Strike 2)
We decided to add a side order of crispy tacos and asked what they came with. The waiter said cheese and we said good, "mexican" cheese and he said "No, just Jack Cheese and Cheddar Cheese"..

The meal was shot. We ordered the meal anyways and left.
Las Casuelas in Modesto is 1000 times better than this "mom/pop mexican" resturant. Maybe the sign should read American-Mexican resturant. I don't think there was a mexican cook in the place.

You must not of went to this restaurant because there are no Asian waiters here. We frequent this restaurant and have enjoyed it every time service is excellent and the food is great.
