User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI have never left a review before but feel compelled to this time because of such poor service! I called to inquire about hiring entertainment for my backyard luau. The woman who answered was rude and not friendly. When I asked if they had male dancers as well as women she accused me of not really visiting at their website. Also, after telling her the party date she quickly told me that they were booked. Still being curios I asked what they charged. Her answer, "very expensive because we only use live musicians." After a long pause on my part, she finally said $800. I totally felt like she was chastising me for not noticing the pictures of men on the website and showed no patience for my questions- almost angry! I will not be calling them for future business due to the lack of friendly customer service professionalism. Their entertainment could be first rate but you would never know judging by my first experience with them!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have known Naomi for about 26 years and in that 26 years of my never ending love for her work of comittment and dedication to preserving the Hawaiian culture has never ceased.I started with placing my two daughters now I'm enjoying my grandaughters and will continue to support her because she is the few genuine Hawaiians left to keep her culture authentically alive.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLove the Halau and Kumu!!!: a great place if you want to learn true Hawaiian arts, dance and culture. I've heard from many people transferring to Hula Kalama because they thought it was the best for learning and teaching their kids the real Hawaiian dance and culture.
