    I love this place. I eat here almost every time I go to Davis. The garlic fries are great and the tri-tip on a salad is so yummy!
    Good prices, too!

    Love da garlic fries!: As a garlic lover, these fries are the best, tastiest, most "pungent" I've ever had, with all that fresh garlic - not just garlic salt and/or powder, like a lot of places. The curlicue rings really hold the flavor. Meats, sandwiches, salads, onion rings, mashed spuds all good, too.

    Great Salads--but very noisy!: The food is great at Pluto's. The salads are delicious since you can select your own ingredients and top it with grilled meat if you choose. Your food is prepared in front of you, so the wait is usually very short even with a line. The one major problem is the noise level. It is hard to have conversation inside the restaraunt. On nice days the outside patio is a better choice, but seating can be hard to find. In all it is a great value and good food, but not a great place for a first date or to take the visiting UCD parents.
