I used to deliver linen supplies next door to Gianninis and ate lunch at 88 Burger many times, probably my all time favorite! Nothing in Arizona even close where I live now.

I just ate here yesterday (01/21/08) and ordered the dbl cheese burger. I split a small order of fry's with my co-worker. Every thing was good, I enjoyed the all you can drink fountain soda. But,
This place cannot hold a candle against the "Squeeze Inn" in Sacramento.
The small fry's at the Squeeze Inn were twice as large. But, that's not saying we did not have enough fry's at the 88.

The Squeeze Inn is one of Americas top 10 burgers. No comparison

Want to talk about a good burger? The best burger in my life (60 yrs) is from a place in Pine Grove California. Its right on Highway 88 about 12 miles east of Jackson. The burges are not preset, round all ready formed meat. These burgers are thrown on the grill and formed. Thick and juicy. The bun is put on the grill and the onions are grilled on the side. It all comes togeather with tomato's and lettuce, mustard and mustard. You get it your way. Its too big to get your mouth around and too heavy to hold in one hand. The burger has a real high quality taste to the meat. One word of warning, if you ever are lucky to eat there with a friend, just order 1 fries. There are too many for a normal person to eat. They used to have a picture of a McDonalds truck parked out front while the driver was inside eating an 88 Giant Burger. I am truly thankful that this hamburger stand is not in my home town (Lodi) or I would be in serious trouble. Just love this place.
