My husband and I have decided to check out the Toyota dealership in Vacaville. We saw an '07 Corrolla online that we wanted to check out. We met a salesman named AL. He is such a nice and patient person. He made us feel comfortable and was willing to work w/what we had,& with no pressure. I had another offer from Ford and I was looking to have the same deal if not a better one. And at the end of our 3 hours there, we left with an '08 Corrolla! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the market for a new or used car. The only advice I would give is to go on a weekday if possible to make sure that the finance company they give you is legit and you don't have to wait all weekend to find out if you got approved for financing. That is exactly what happened. On Saturday I got the car and on Tuesday I had to bring the car back because after all that time spent there, the finance manager said that he could not finance me. He should not have let me leave the lot (as I told him) if I am not financed. Do your homework people and don't settle w/one dealership, there are plenty out there that are trying to get rid of the cars on their lots and are willing to work with you. One more important thing, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM A JERRY CAUL!!! He gives this dealership a bad rep in my book. He was rude and not a person that I would recommend to see. He gave my husband a hard time and thought that he was too good to speak with us. Believe me when I say that he will definitely be reported to the Better Business Bureau. But please go see AL, He will definitely take care of you. ;)Thanks AL!!!!
Service was overall ok...Al was a really good salesman, not the pushy, desperate type. The finance department was my biggest complaint. Craig sold us a "lifetime oil change" but NEVER did he mention that this can ONLY be used at Lithia Vacaville. If we planned on living in this area for a long time, we wouldn't mind. Yea he convinced us to get this "so called great deal" but he knew damn well what he was doing. I tell ya...great service nowadays...What's this world coming to??
I have had a bad experience with the service department here. Kim who is the manager was going to charge me for a leaky roof that Toyota should have fixed, that should still be under warranty. I will never buy or do business with any Toyota dealership again. This is not the first time I have had problems with the service department in Vacaville. When I first bought the 2004 Sienna there was a loud popping noise and they could not find anything wrong with the van, but it still pops. I also had the water leaking in 2005 on the van and Toyota told me that they fixed the issue, well if it was fixed there would not be water in my van. I was also told that since it was not a safety issue they could not provide me with a loaner vehicle. That was all fine and dandy because now they have lost my business and I will never buy another toyota again.
