Worst Caesar salad I have ever had. Dressing is off, croutons are hard as rocks and the worst thing is chewy, cold tasteless chicken. I have asked for fresh cooked chicken and all they do is throw the cold chicken on the grill for a second. Just awful. We stopped going do to the poor quality and lack of consistency.
The other food is adequate but not as good as several other Italian places nearby. But the GB crowds seems to enjoy the place. They need better sauces, cheeses, salads, and wine. Nuevo Cal-Italian - not traditional Italian.
Really suprised: My significant other and I went to this restaruant expecting another Old Spaghetti rip off and instead we were pleasantly suprised. This place definetly had some great tasting meals and the bread and oil was awesome. I will definetly be going back here.
Our Favorite!: This restaurant is my family's favorite--you just can't beat the wonderful, fresh food for the price, which is reasonable enough for just about every budget. Most dishes run between $8 and $12 for an entree; a salad or soup can be added for an additional $2 or so. Another personal measure of a good restaurant: The coffee is excellent! My husband and I have dinner at Pasta Pomodoro two or three times a month and have even stopped by just for dessert--another treat! The wait staff and management are friendly and responsive; managers often stroll through the dining room, greeting and chatting with diners, making everyone feel welcome. Wait staff are competent and prompt, although diners aren't made to feel rushed. While the restaurant is often busy, there is rarely a wait for a table.
