User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe food here is good, as is the service. The risotto is excellent and the appetizers at a recent business function were quite tasty. However, Lucca's wine by the glass prices are the biggest restaurant rip off in town, hence the 3 star rating. I ordered a glass of ZD chardonnay. A bottle of this retails for under $25 at a wine store, and restaurants get a much better price than that. At $4 or so per glass, I can understand being charged double or even triple the cost, but Lucca charges $16 -- FOUR TIMES! This is more than I would pay in the Bay Area. Needless to say, I won't be returning here anytime soon, good food or not.

I tried this restaurant on a reccomendation from a co worker.. man!! good food, good staff, good atmosphere! Definitely a keeper!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy husband and I went downtown last night to find one resturant couldn't find it and ended up going to Lucca's.
What a surprise. We had great food and great service.
It was so nice sitting out on the patio and listening to all the noises of the city. We will diffently go back and bring friends. It was nice to have valet parking. GREAT experience. Their crab cakes are the BEST!!
