User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsYa know, we transferred out here from SF, good food is hard to find. This place has the food you'd expect in North Beach for the most part. As far as Sacramento goes this place is out of this world. I've encounterd Dominick several times and have not been treated poorly. Must be a Granite Bay thing. Try the Schwartz Hero, you'll be back.

I agree. The service is poor and the attitude is self absorbed. I much prefer Foscoâs on the corner of Sierra College and Douglas â superlative service, good people, good wine selection.

I am nearby Dominick's place, and I have been there quite a few times. The food is good, but it is not worth Dominick's rude behavior and the staff's slow service. Dominick feels that it is a priviledge to eat at his restaurant, and doesn't want to bother to answer any questions... the last time I asked him something, he seemed insulted that he had to walk about 12 steps to talk to me.
There aren't too many people left in Granite Bay that you haven't insulted, Dominick. I would highly recommend that you start being respectful of people, and do your best to be nice.Comments (3)

Of course he would be insulted to walk 12 steps. The man is over 400 pounds, moron. Besides, you are not going there to flirt with Dominick, you are going there to eat. The portions are big and the food is pretty good.

Looking over the reviews, It seems the general trend is down hill. This place must have been OK in the past but between the attitude and the decreasing quality, it is not worth driving 3 blocks. There are better places to get good service and properly prepared food. This place is off the list of recommendations.
