Chicago Cafe is not of this time...: Top Sirloin Steak and Eggs anyone? Egg Foo Young or Deluxe Steak Sandwich with fries, there will be something for everyone at Chicago Cafe. Founded in the beginning of last century (1900s), this restaurant feels like it never quite left the 50's. The sense of being back in time is strong here, and while you're at it, if you want to escape the health food craze and enjoy a meal WITHOUT alfalpha sprouts, this is the place! The service might be a little slow, and perhaps grumpy, but what is a 50's family restaurant without that? A great counter to belly up to if dining alone as well, and plenty of regulars to keep you company. Don't expect a recognition of bank cards or credit cards: this place takes cash only. Enjoy stepping back in time and enjoy great food that will fill you to the top!
Chicken Fried Steak: The Chicken Fried Steak is the best! As for the service, if Jeannie doesn't wait on you, it's just not the same!
