This has to be the worst experience I have ever had when getting my car repaired. My girlfriend was almost taken for four hundred dollars in unecessary repairs. The service writer Alfredo has no common sense when it comes to writing or diagnosing a vehicle. He not only wanted to make unecessary repairs but he tryed to say to we needed to purchase software from chevy because the car computer was frozen because of a brake sensor that they replaced. Take my advice never use this dealership to get your car worked on they are nothing but crooks!!

First of all we were greeted by a not so knowledgeable salesperson. We were telling him that we were passing through and we just wanted to test drive a Tahoe. We had a few ideas of what we wanted, but we were open. All of the 2008 Tahoe’s had dark interior and the selection was very limited. This was fine because we were planning to buy the vehicle at another dealership anyways. As we were about to leave we were stopped by original salesman and he introduced us to Art, another salesman. Art was more knowledgeable than the first salesman, but he did misquote special 0% financing on the 2008 models. The good thing was that he did double check and apologized for the mistake. We told Art they did not have the vehicle we wanted so Art offered to have the vehicle delivered from Roseville. We inquired how long it would take for the vehicle to arrive. We were told the vehicle would be there either the next day, or possibly that night. We added optional wheels to our deal and we asked if the wheels would be on the vehicle when we were going to pick it up and he said they would be installed and the vehicle ready to go. When our negotiations were complete we were greeted by the Sales Manager, Mark. We asked again when the vehicle would be available to pick up and he said the following Monday and they would call us when it arrived. So the estimated delivery time went from possibly tonight, to tomorrow, to the following Monday in a matter of an hour. We still didn’t mind because Art was very friendly and he did help us negotiate a very fair deal.

We were expecting a call from the dealership Monday morning, but we never received one. I called at about noon and someone I spoke with knew nothing of a dealer trade and left me on the phone for 45 minutes. At 3:30pm someone finally called to let us know the car was on its way. We arrive at Maita at 5:30pm where we were expecting to be greeted by Art or Mark, but instead we went to the dealership counter and the receptionist said Art was not in that day and Mark had already gone home. No one knew about a dealer trade and it seemed as though no one was even expecting us. We were then greeted by David who knew something about a dealer trade that day and he said the car just arrived. David took us to see the car and we were surprised to see the custom wheels were not installed and the car was dirty and not shined. David did take us on an orientation drive, but we were still disappointed that the car was not ready for delivery. He told us to wait in the lobby for their financial advisor while he took the car to be detailed.

It took two hours before we were greeted by the financial advisor. You would think that since we have been waiting for this vehicle from the previous week we would be a priority. Our document signing was simple and quick until we were offered the aftermarket warranty and Bluetooth kit. Somehow the financial advisor found us a better financing rate only after offering the aftermarket stuff. This is a very poor technique where you don’t offer the best rate upfront. We arrived at the dealership at 5:30 to pick it up and go, but we did not leave the dealership until 9pm. We were not expecting to waste the day just to pick up the car.

Limited salesperson knowledge, limited selection, not upfront about vehicle estimated delivery date, not upfront about all financing options until aftermarket options were available, vehicle arrived dirty and unfinished, had to wait 2 hours for the financial advisor just to sign the papers, they scheduled an appointment for an item to be installed that wasn’t even in stock the day of the appointment, had to return several times to get options installed.
