on Sept 15 2009 my wife and I went to this ihop for an early lunch, despite having 10 or less customers it took 40 minutes to order and recieve the food, I specifically asked to have no sugar sprinkled on my french toast, but it arrived with powdered sugar all over it. They took it back and said they would make me a fresh batch, but wanted to serve me the cooled down bacon and eggs with the new french toast, Fearing another half an hour wait I cancelled my order. In the meantime, my wife proceeded to eat without me, she also specifically ordered her bacon crisp, but it arrived flabby and very fatty. Judging from the proportion of lean meat to fat, it was obvious the bacon was from the cheaper cuts. I guesstimate the ingredient cost of the entire meal to be 20% or less, a terrible value, especially the chintzy 2 slice portion of very cheap fatty bacon. Then there is the coffee, barely passable, inferior to McDonalds coffee, and especially inferior to competitor Denny's Diner excellent coffee, (I am not a great fan of McDonald's or Denny's). Finally the bill arrived with my credit card, but no pen to sign with. I don't know about the other Ihops, but this one can't do anything right, and the food, service and paying attention to customers wishes need massive improvement. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience.
