I am born and raised in Chico and my parents met and wed in Chico. Chico Senior High School students have been taking their lunch breaks at Big Al's for more years than anyone cares to count. They have hardley changed in that entier time. A few new milkshakes, some nessesary price increases (not outrageous though), and some new employees here and there. They still have the same menu, dinning room and outdoor patio. All of this on top of the AWSOME food make this the best quick bite place in the whole of Chico, in my humble opinion. Here's to another 50 years Big Als!!

EXCELLENT FOOD: This fast food restaurant has been in business in chico for over 30 years. The food has always been excellent and reasonably priced.

Welcome to Chico!: If you're new to Chico or haven't yet visited, here is a good reason to come. Big Al's has everything fried and dipped. It's famous for its "triple thick" shakes. Not constricted to burgers, there are fish n' chips, hot dogs, chicken breasts (or breaded patties), burritos and everything that will stop your heart. Everything is made to order so it can be a wait.
