Cinemark Tinseltown at Chico

The Good: Spacious stadium seating, lots of screens, exceptionally clean, great service, beautiful upscale design. Been to this theater a time or two and absolutely loved it! I would go back every time if I didn't live in Redding. They really put a lot of work into it, and it's overall a very nice theater.

The Bad: We need one in Redding! (Our Movies 8 & 10 are so filthy and dated, and they were both only built in the mid 90s, and to make matters even worse, they're both Cinemarks!)

Movies: Great theater if you're a teenager..If you're an adult that likes foreign or independent films you have to wait until they come to the Pageant...many times several screens are being used by the same movies...I.E. Harry Potter on three screens, Twilight on three screens (many outstanding movies are not at T-town so they can have "blockbusters" on multiple screens) ...often there is only one, or at the most most two staff members selling tickets (this makes for long lines so get there early)...In all of the years T-town has been open I've never seen all of the ticket windows open...never! T-Town is Chico's movie theater monopoly providing nothing but the most mainstream movies...Like I said a teenagers entertainment haven. (There are virtually no adults working there either, so no one monitors any crowd behavior)
