I went to the Veterinary Technician Program, and had no problem finding a job when I was done. My teacher Ms. Mobley was knowledgeable and fun to learn from. I felt very prepared for my new career as a veterinary technician, and RVT. The only complaint I had was with the admin dept. I needed transcripts so I could sit for my RVT test, but because I still owed the school $400, they wouldn't release them. Now mind you I had paid these people over $20,000, so to me $400 was small potatoes in the grand scheme of things. I couldnt even set up a payment plan. Once again my awesome teacher helped, and I was able to get my transcripts, sit for my test, passed, and now make more than twice the amount the school projected I would make in this field (this was about 4 years ago now). I think for the money people pay the admin could be more helpful. I personally had a great teacher, and my program was educational, though I have heard some horror stories. I personally know 4 of Ms. Mobley's former students all RVTs, and all doing very well for themselves....so I guess it may be dependent on the teacher.

I went for seminar and they gave all the information. during the process the admin reps who originally helped me was not available everytime I called. Then I was transfer to another admission rep who is then to be said the head of the nursing program but knew nothing about information on qualifications on their testings and gave wrong informations. I took time taking all test necessary but before taking it i felt that their admission reps are not really helpful because most school reps would actually try to help you out to get into the program and would not make you feel like you dont fit in their school.they really dont care about the students it made me feel that they care abou the money. Usually admission reps will guide you about your options and decisions. I ask for some guidance about the process but admission rep was not really helpful sh just told me that she dont know and couldnt give me any simple opinion.this action really showed they dont care about he students. also I took the last test o ge into he program and I didn meet he requirement on a certain section but I was told during he seminar and when I talk o this rep that we were allowed to retake the necessary area but when she called me about the result and I ask her the options she said that I couldnt retake it because they also have a certain requirements score that you need to meet. However, this isnt the information I recieved and I am really disappointed about this rep because she was trying to push me to get into a certain degree that they offer eventhough i didnt want the program. I asked her some options but she didnt bother to help me in to the nursing program and instead she hung up the phone. THE SERVICE WAS AWFUL wouldnt recommend this school I also felt that they are not welcoming all prospective students instead i feel that they choose who they think have money and I also agree with the other review that there are discriminations in this school. I called in again and pretended that I am a different student interested in their program and the information they gave me about lvn is they want you to have some kind of background in medical in which they really didnt mention it during the seminar and when I got denied I was informed I cant retake the test but have found out that it wasnt true so this really proved that WCC has discrimination in choosing their students.
