I moved here from the Bay Area where there are a load of good Chinese restaurants. This place ranks with the best. I have to have their hot and sour soup. I t is amazing. (I do add a bit of vinegar and hot oil simply because that is my taste). Their dishes are VERY flavorful and come in large portions. I especially recommend the General Chicken (the best I have EVER had), the Kung Pao chicken, the cashew chicken, the garlic green beans (ask for it), and the sweet and sour pork (ALWAYS crispy and not a single fatty piece, unlike Moongate in Paradise, where I got nothing but burnt soggy chunks of fat). The vegetable dishes are all fresh, and the Moo Shu is killer. All the rice dishes are excellent, especially the pork fried rice. My friends love the walnut shrimp, which I am allergic to so I can't review. Price-wise, they are very reasonable, especially given the large portions. The staff is friendly (ask for Mary) and the place is CLEAN. All in all, I cannot say enough about this restaurant. It is a treat to eat here, and I have never been disappointed.

I have eaten here since it was Peter Chu's. This past year the meals seem to have been warmed over from another day and tasted poor. It is not what it had been in the past and we no longer eat there.
Happy Day seems great one day and so-so the next. I have had fresh tasting food one day and then sometimes it tastes as though they are using left-overs the next. Years ago, it was consistant, but now it's hit or miss. I have given up and seem to like the consistancy of Asian Garden, down the Skyway.
