good service and great food: excellent serive throughout the whole trip.......awesome steakhouse...definitly a must
A Hidden Gem (Eat at THE STEAK HOUSE 6TH. FLOOR): Some people would ask, why Oroville, and besides, where in the world is Oroville, CA? Let's say in between Sacramento & Chico, yes, the same Chico as in Chico State... Being born and raised in the Bay Area (San Jose) I have found something very wonderful to visit. Besides all of the history that lay beneath Orovilles town, is a VERY updated, 5star restaurant that will blow you away!!!! Youll make your way up to the 6th. floor of the Gold Country Casino, Enter on in to THE STEAK HOUSE, you will know you will get top of the line service once you present your name to the hostess (& by the way, make reservations, it comes highly recommended). The service will bring you back to (if you've ever had the luxury of going that far back) the way service should be. Please, if you can, try to stay one night, that way, you can arrange to have dinner before the sun sets, you want an amazing sight, the window covering will come up automatically, and then youll see the greatest scene of a sun setting for the beginning of a romantic evening, or a spectacular night with some friends! The food certainly matches up to the service, fresh Black Angus meat, seafood out of this world, they are cooked in European ovens, and they even have a pastry chef on board. You will NOT be sorry that you visited Oroville, CA, Im not kidding, take my word for it and while youre at it, go visit Oroville Lake, awesome views there and on the Oroville Dam. And if that is not enough, go visit their unique downtown, shop around for some antiques, youll be quite impressed to say the least!!!
buffet small but nice: Good assortment of food that was fresh not stale. limited seating so it cant handle much of a rush without causing a lineup.
