User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe oldest restaurant in Oroville and there is a reason. I have been going there for 55 years. Went last week for lunch (No 3 Dinner)killer), finished it for dinner at home. Friendly, friendly people (Sandie is the best). My mouth is watering thinking about Tong Fong Low (Charlie's to the locals). I can't say enough good things about the food and the service.

Easily one of the worst Chinese restaurants I have eaten at, if not the worst. I asked for it to be very spicy - it was spicy without flavor. Very dry. The rice was also overcooked and excessively sticky. Poor, unresponsive service, and they tried to clear the food before I was done. Negative 1 on a scale ot 1 to 10!

One of the two best restaurants in Oroville--the other is the steakhouse at Gold Country Casino. But the steak house is very expensive and very high end. Tong Fong Low has been in continuous operation here in Oroville for over 100 years--not a bad record for a restaurant. Great food, great service always and very reasonable prices. Gigantic menu of wonderful Chinese food. Always hot and fresh. Also have beer.
