I didn't know what to expect, but I guess I thought an established local guy would care more about my installation.
My amplifier has six holes for mounting screws. I thought they would remove my driver's seat and put in six screws; I was wrong. They put two screws in one side where their drill would fit without taking the seat out (it has four nuts holding it in place that are all accessible). The amplifier bounced on every speed bump, pothole, and railroad track I crossed until the screws came loose. It slid back and forth as far as the wires would reach until they came loose and it stopped working.
The gap around my cd player was large enough that I used it to hold my envelopes going to the post office, conveniently near Jerry's so I cursed them every day driving past them on my way to deliver my mail.
They wouldn't install the equipment I bought from an "authorized dealer" online, so I had to fight to send that back, and paid more for the same equipment to Jerry's so he would do my installation.
They left scraps of wires on my floor and seats, which I cleaned up after I picked up my car. I connected some of the wires and got my two back speakers to work again, and just taped over the others so they wouldn't spark anymore after coming off the amplifier.
I was going to ask about getting a surround sound system for my home, but I think I won't now.
