The Backroom Boutique was awsome! So much better than Kiss N Tell of Sacramento! The atmosphere and display setup was great, esp. the tactile displays - touch and feel before buying. There is definitely something for everyone. Their prices were great too.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I know at first glance the interior of the video store looks a little on the ghetto side, but at the prices they offer, who cares? $2.99 for a dvd rental is pretty cheap, a lot of their 'previously viewed' movies start at like $3 anyway so you might as well just buy it. I like that they rent out the entire season on a TV show for only 8 bucks (it's like a 5-day rental or something). They're also really nice and they seem to go out of their way to help me whenever I'm in there which is unusual these days in most businesses. Oh, and for those of you who have never heard of the Backroom Boutique, you have to see it to really believe it. For one thing, it's ENORMOUS, but it also took me a good 20 mins before I realized it's actually an ADULT STORE!!! It looks so bright and nice inside I never would have guessed; and all of the ladies that work there are really friendly. Which you wouldn't think when you think "adult store" but hey, I guess it's about time Yuba City had something going for it!
