I recently went to the Honda dealership and horrible experience. We waited for 20 minutes because the guy we had an appointment with was busy. Some one else came to help us and we picked out a car. When we sat down to figure out the payments the sales man did not know we were only qualified for one car and it was not the car we pick out. We changed the type of car and the payments were incredibly high. They also did not want to give me proper trade in value for my car. At this point it had been close to three hours of being at the dealership, I was tired and frustrated. We were handed back to the original sales rep. I told the guy I had to be some where else and wanted my keys to MY CAR BACK. I had to ask three times to get my own keys back. I felt pressured and bullied to buy a car. On top of that the guy said I should have planned more than three hours to buy a car even though I was already approved for finance through Honda dealership. That in my book is ridiculous.
Be Careful of buying a car here...Service if OK: A clean dealership with lots of sales people so one never has to wait. I bought a 2002 Odyssey Van here and was treated poorly on a simple cash deal... They tried to bump the agreed upon price up $3000... gee oops they said... I should have just walked out but stayed and bought the van... was handed from one sales person to another...
Just sell the car for the agreed upon price and cut out all the monkeying around.
I wrote to Honda corporation about my treatment at YC Honda.
The service is generally OK to good... they have so much turn over in help that you can not build up a relationship with the service people... I will have to say that it has improved as far as keeping some of the same faces around for 6 months.
Another service problem is that they try to sell you serviced that is not really called for in the owners manual. Thus lining their pockets with your money rather than earning it honestly.

Good for you! If more people were strong enough to just walk away from bad service maybe the retail industry would realy take a look at the power we truly hold. Customers always have a choice-and bad service should never be rewarded!
