Good, however limited, experience: I have been to Fator's twice, just window shopping really, and months have passed between each visit. Despite the fact that I made no purchase, the clerks were quite friendly and helpful each time. I want a Hayabusa, but am pretty broke, so I go in and remind myself why I'm putting money back every-so-often.
The first time, I walked in looked around and then left. Then an employee came out, apologized that he had not attended to me, and explained that he had been helping someone else. He was more than happy to answer my questions and give me brocures.
On the second trip, another employee took the time answer all of my questions despite the fact that I had already mentioned not intending to buy anything yet. He seemed quite informed about the motorcycles I asked about as he had answers to all of my questions.
I sometimes ask questions that I already know the answer to, hoping to find out what kind of sales-person I am dealing with. Both were friendly and polite about all the questions. I hate smug sales-staff who seem to think you're foolish for having to ask anything. Additionally, if they don't know which type of fuel injection the bike their selling uses, or something along those lines, I can't take their advice seriously.
However, I have no experience with their follow up help. But if these experiences are indicative, service should never be a worry.
This shop is considerably smaller than the other three I have visited in the area and I can not say that I have had as much help at the others. Except one of the younger guys at the Harley shop, he was friendly and understood that I have differing interest (primarily sport bikes rather than a standard or cruiser.)
