DJ did not at all play music that was asked of them or agreed upon. We gave Jimmy Bryant the music we wanted played as he did not have most of it a month before the wedding. He acted extremely appreciative. We let him know if there was any problem getting the music on to his computer to please let us know.
Jimmy Bryant was unresponsive for a whole month before our wedding. We left message after message with no return phone calls. The day before our wedding we finally got a hold of him. Jimmy asked if he could just play the CD we gave him (like it was) at the reception. We said we really wouldnât appreciate that, as there would then be no reason for him or his DJ to show up. (we could just play it ourselves for that matter). We asked him to please do what was agreed upon. Pick a few songs from each era that we gave him a month ago and play those as agreed. Working from the 20's all the way up to today's music. He said, "Oh, yeah, yeah, Okay." We asked if we could fax or email âhisâ form to him with the special songs (i.e. father/daughter dance etc.) and a schedule of how we would like our reception to go (what order we would like the special songs to be done, approx. when dinner would be served etc.) Jimmy Bryant, âOh I donât get involved in that technological stuff, I donât do emailâ. No email, no fax, then don't know how to use email, then yes we have a fax, then oh, okay, yeah you can email it. We emailed it and his wife confirmed receipt.
Apparently, when the Jimmy was setting up at the reception site he complained the whole time to my father (bride) that myself and the groom were the most difficult couple he had ever worked with. That his poor wife had to work for 5 hours recording our music (apparently at the last minute which he did not share with my father). It was completely amazing to us that they had to record any music. Jimmy said he would call us (a whole month before the wedding) if he wasnât able to just drag the music onto his computer. He complained so much about how much extra work he had to do for our reception that my good-willed father gave him an extra $100.
Well, the poor DJ (joke) that actually had to work our reception had no idea what he was doing. Someone, him or Jimmy recorded 10 songs from our music (oh, about 200 songs) that we gave them and decided that it would be okay for him to just play those songs over and over again. He did have down the songs that were the special songs, so that was nice. But, hearing the same 10 songs over and over again for a good 3/4 of our reception was a joke and quite offensive. The DJ also had no clue what or how to announce the receiving line or common wedding things like that. The music was never, ever loud enough. My wedding party kept having to ask the DJ if he could turn it up a notch. The DJ also never announced anything loud enough. The wedding party finally took over for him (the DJ) as he kept looking for me or the groom to ask us what he should do next.
Jimmy Bryant while being very highly recommended ended up being a complete rat. Preying on the bride's father while the bride and groom and the rest of the wedding party are at the ceremony site preparing for their wedding day??!?!? Whining and accepting extra money and then providing (still) less than acceptable service!?!?!?! NO THANK YOU!!! I wouldnât ever recommend booking Jimmy Bryantâs.
**Complaint filed with Better Business Bureau. Jimmy Bryant's never responded.

Jimmy is one of Redding's most personable entertainers. He has a wonderful sense of humor. He has a way of putting people at ease and making them feel like they are one of the crowd, no matter what their age is. He makes you feel like an old friend that he has known for years. He really brightens up a place with his smile and music. This is from a Casino Club Groupie.......
