When he is instructing the kids I love it because he is very kind, patient, and structured. The kids seem to do much better when he is there vs. the younger "junior" instructors (teenagers). ~~ I dont like taking my boys when the younger instructors are teaching the classes for multiple reasons. My biggest complaint is that they don't have the patience or experience to deal with the young kids. If Mr.Halsey taught the classes even most of the time I would give 5 stars.
Scott Halsey's is an excellent school. Scott is extremely involved and the other instructors are highly experienced and skilled - open, inviting yet disciplined environment. The most respected and established in the North State by far the best! Good for all ages!04/07/11
