    My parents have never been so well cared for. Being a family owned business as opposed to corporate, as most unfortunately are, makes a huge differance. My folks were in a place in the Santa Cruz area and it was horrible. The mood seemed generally sour in my view. Activities were lacking and my parents were just rotting away. At River Oaks they have planned activities and events. The food and service is amazing. The owners are there every day and are very accessable to the residents. They are involved in every aspect of the daily operations and are genuinely tentative to the individual needs of the residents. It's nice to see my parents so well taken care of and for once in a long time HAPPY in their golden years. My thanks to the staff and Rob and Cindy for all they do.
