User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI had a really great experience getting tattooed by Robert at Sin City. I was in town visiting my sister and decided to get another tattoo while in there. I have traveled a lot and gotten tattoos all over the country and this was by far one of my best experiences. Sadly, my sister does not really do the whole tattoo thing so we wasted most of the afternoon in and out of shops where people either ignored us or their tattoo portfolios were horrible. Walking into Sin City was like a breath of fresh air (literally, they have a great A/C system). First, the atmospere is extremely clean and professional. Robert immediately acknowledged us and was eager to design the tattoo that I wanted. He listened to my ideas carefully and setup an appointment with me ON HIS DAY OFF to help with my vacation schedule. When I came in for the tattoo, the design was even better than I had hoped for. Even though this was my 15th tattoo he was very precise about explaining everything from the setup to the aftercare process. He also uses the really good ink (Eternal), which I was surprised to find. My tattoo was pretty big, but he took his time and didn't rush through it like I was afraid he might since he wasn't even supposed to be there that day. He also kept conversation with me the whole time and consistently checked to make sure I was comfortable. They sell the aftercare for the tattoos in the shop (in 2.5 oz. bottles, really convenient for travelling). It has been about a month now since I got the tattoo and it has healed up great. All in all it was a really great experience with really great people. I definitely will be getting more work by him the next time I am in town.

me and my friend when sincity to get a tattoo, there
place is amazingly clean , and out lines are great but when it comes to shading part I was really dissapointed because some of the shading when out side of out line andmy friends one just look worst then mine.
tell the truth this guy's sucked. Has no talent on art. that's the truth
beleve or not. that's why all my friends never go to this shop. -

I highly recommend Sin City in hilo, ive gotten a couple of piercings from Kala the owner and he's quick, clean and knows his stuff. His place is always professional, clean and his work is always percise! I only get pierced by him and i live in honolulu!
