About:Black Bear Diner is a casual family-style restaurant with more than 100 seats. The theme includes images of bears and stuffed teddy bears sit on shelves, gazing down at diners.     Awesome Place!: I have been to other Black Bear Dinners before & they are consistantly good country, home style cooking, but I have to say this one in Susanville goes above & beyond my expectations. Typically serving large portions is one of BBD's special features which is great, especially when the food is awesome & you can't beat the home town service. If you're coming to Susanville you really don't want to miss dining at our BBD.

    The only place worth eating at in Susanville: Great steaks and breakfasts. Nice salads. Great staff. Just the place could stand a deep cleaning on the outside.
