About:	In 1861 a gold prospector by the name of Sisson fell in love with Strawberry Valley in far northern California. He opened an inn overlooking wild berry, which inspired the opening of the Black Bear Diner. Dinner at the Black Bear is pure comfort food, consisting of homemade meat loaf, pot roast, roast turkey; fresh cut steaks, chops and seafood. Black Bear Lager, a carefully handcrafted Pilsner, is the featured locally brewed beer.
