My wife and I were there on May 23rd to have dinner and see John & Hope Keawe perform. We were there for the first seating and were the front row table by the stage. The staff that waited on us were very nice and acted like they actually enjoyed us being there. We were taken care of by 2 different watresses (at the same time) and also the chef. They would stop by and chat and make sure all was well. John and Hope were fantastic and invited guests to participate in thier show. We highly recommend their show as they are very talented and wonderful people. We had so much fun and were also enjoyed by the staff so we got to stay at our front row seating for the second seating also. It was a night that we will remember fondly for many years. Yes, we spent more money than we had anticipated going in but we had such a good time that we splurged more than usual. Apetizers, entrees, desserts, and several glasses of wine. We all made out on that deal!
I have heard other comments about the service lacking but that was far from our experience.
Wow not the same bamboo as it used to be!! Higher Prices same food and still a bad attitude from the hostess (guess she dosent want business? Check out Lukes place around the corner the decor and overall attitude is much better!!!
it may have been a while ago but..: i have visited hawaii to see my family and my auntie works there. i believe it has a very hospitable apmosphere and it is a very cool chill place. it has good food and nice things to buy when you go. it is cheap but you can see it was made by locals. i cant wait to go back. it was july 2000
