THE GOOD: Friendly staff..meaning..if I wanted to find some guys to smoke a bowl with..these are the ones. Luckily they didn't charge me for labor or diagnosis fee, since they know they messed up. Open on Labor Day. THE BAD: Incompetent technicians that didn't notice a missing belt. Wasted 4 days of my time and $ on a rental car. They could have made a lot of $$ off of me with a tune up and fixing the compressor if they didn’t dick me around. Instead, my money is going to another shop now. THE UGLY: Sexist technicians. These are the guys that give all mechanics a bad name. Also never apologized for their poor service. THE FULL STORY: Monday 9/6: Lots of stop and go traffic in hot sun, car overheats and breaks down over Donner Pass. We see that drive belt is missing. Home is over 150 miles away. Got it towed to closest AAA shop. Thankful that this shop is open on Labor Day! Tell them that it overheated and belt is missing. It's nearing the end of the day so they won't be able to look at it until Tuesday. No problem. They tell me they'll call me on Tuesday after 12 with estimate. I also tell them I’m due for a 100,000 mile tune up (filters/fluids/etc), and I'd like an estimate for that too. Figure I'll get it done now. Tuesday: No call. I call them after 2pm. They haven't looked at it yet. They tell me they'll look at it on Wednesday and call me back. No tune up estimate either. $67/day on a rental car. Wednesday: No call. I call them 2-3 times. They still haven't looked at it. They tell me they'll look at it soon and call me back. No tune up estimate...letting that one go. Getting frustrated... $67/ rental car. Thursday: I call them multiple times. We play some phone tag. Finally late that day I talk to James who says that it is only a bad $12 radiator cap that caused the overheating. All fluids were good and head gasket didn't blow. I asked about the missing drive belt. He said that it was fine. 'But it was missing on Monday.' I said. He said that his technician looked it over and it was just a radiator cap. Half hour later, I call back with my MALE friend who was there when it broke down. He talks to James for 30 seconds, and tells him that the belt is missing. James puts us on hold and goes out to the car and pops open the hood. James comes back and says, 'oh you're right, it's missing. My technician overlooked that. And the AC Compressor is locked. I'll get back to you with an estimate on the AC compressor tomorrow.' $67/rental. Thursday Night: Fuming... Fed up with this shop. I told them that it overheated due to the missing belt on Monday and it's now Thursday and car is still not fixed. They blatantly disregarded what I said, as soon I had a man talk to them on the phone they decided to listen. Friday: Call them Friday morning. James says a new the AC Compressor is $800. I tell them to put on a drive belt on so I can drive it to another shop. After noon I start the 4 hour drive there to get my car. At 4pm James leaves me a message. He tells me that now the car is making a terrible noise with the belt and doesn't think it will make it far. He left before I arrived around 4:45. He left a written notice saying that I refused to properly service to my vehicle. $67/rental. $53/cap & belt. $321 spent …car not fixed! The car made it an hour before new belt fell off. Had AAA tow it to shop in Tracy, CA. New shop mechanic was shocked that all 76 found wrong was radiator cap. Ended up being a bad Compressor Clutch that caused the belt to come off and engine to overheat.

Went in to have battery and alternator replaced. They accidently damaged my car and it needed body work. The said they would take care of the body work. When body work done they refused to pay for the body work. Very unprofessional. They forgot the old saying "keep the customer happy".
