I have eaten in lots of 5 star restaurants, and am a pizza lover, but never thought I'd eat a pizza worthy of a 5 star rating until I walked into Goodfellas. Fresh, ample toppings, perfect crust and marinara sauce, and a balance of flavors and textures which created a nearly spiritual experience... The only problem is that my old "favorite" pizza joint at home is now demoted to a far away 2nd place! Ah, well - it'll be well worth the 4 hour drive to South Lake Tahoe JUST for this pie. I'll see you again soon, Goodfellas!

Terrible cust. serv!!!Ordered pizza by phone for pick up and spoke to Jared who was beyond rude, condesending and even mocked us for having a bad phone connection. Asked for the manager who he sayed was Karen or Kiernan, and a girl named Jenna got on the phone saying she was the manager. Told her about the problem (she didn't seem to care)but gave her our order. When we went down to pick it up we talked to Jenna about the situation she just didn't care still. As we waited for our food, Jared walked in from a delivery and we spoke to him to try to clear thing up, to be friendly and show him that we were nice people. He didn't care and even told my husband that he was "an old guy who was petty"!!! We could even hear the employees talking in the back about us as we waited and heard one say "is this the order I should burn?"!!! We tried to be friendly and just explain that this is not how to run a business, but they just did not care. We returned our order (who could trust eating a food product from an establishment like this) and went down to Blue Dog Pizza where we were treated like family as soon as we walked in the door! I suggest that the owners of Goodfellas (whoever they are - we were given the run around with his or their names) hire a new crew - top to bottom and get rid of these children that don't know how to behave at work. We were repeat customers, but no more. We are taking our business to Blue Dog where you will get better pizza and a smile from some very happy employees!
