| About: | The coffee that made Hawai'i famous is served at this tiny upcountry cafe. It also serves locally made ice cream, pastries and specialty foods. The cafe, which is located in the tiny Upcountry village of Hawi, isn't much to look at from the outside. It looks like it's been around forever, and that isn't far from the truth. It is much more authentic in atmosphere and product than spic-'n'-span new cafes and specialty shops found on the Gold Coast or in Kailua. |

my husband and i visited this place and had very attrocious service! a large woman who spoke of a recent pregnancy at the time of visit and a large older woman with a long braid going down her back. they were rude unnaccomidating and the formerly older pregnant one was a burly rude credent! the icecream was delicious but the service and all others were terrible! make note not to visit!
