| About: | Decorated with Asian antiques, lacquered baskets, Japanese screens and Chinese paintings, this restaurant is a work of art. They also have a small private Chinese style dining room and a wedding chamber converted into a tiny lounge. Another Japanese style private area is used as a conference room. The unique ambience should be a strong clue about the food here. Chef Michael Fennelly has created a delicious fusion of the East and the Southwest. Typical Big Island cuisine with an Asian mix is what it's all about. Innovative dishes like the Coconut & Lentil-crusted Baked Ono and the specialty Kaikodo New Wave Pork Laulau seem to keep pulling in a steady stream of diners. |
