User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWas in South Lake Tahoe on vacation and coming back from a day trip around the lake looking for a nice restaurant to have a seafood dinner. I remember seeing Lewmarnels the day before. The dinner was terrific and so was the service not to mention the wine list, very extensive. We weren't exactly dressed for the occasion but the staff welcomed us openly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsmy husband and i spent a Saturday in S. Lake and stumbled upon Lewmarnels. I have not been able to get the experience out of my head since.
The complimentary Cheese Fondue and bread is absolutely delicious. i have purchased a fondue pot and have attempted to recreate the experience.....not gonna happen. i will have to settle for dreaming about it until i can get back to Lewmarnels and have their's.
the service was outstanding. my husband and i had just gotten married we obviously were very into each other and although our waiter was very attentive he was not obtrusive. very well done.
the twice baked potatoes and steak, scrumptious. can not WAIT to return.-
